So it was our 2nd day at azad kashmir, Kel . We booked Famous Red JEEP of Sajjid Bhai and left towards Shounter valley , it was a very long but adventurous 3.5 hours journey, and view never get us bored. This valley lies in Upper Neelum valley. It can be accessed through a jeep track from Kel which only gets opened for a few months of the year. Before reaching Shounter valley we were shocked to see Spoon lake which is a spoon shaped magnificent natural lake in Shounter Valley, Neelum, AJK. It is just beneath Hariparbat (The mountain that never surrendered to anyone). There are no hotels nor any good restaurant in this whole valley. Visitors must bring their camping gears and food items in case of long/night stay.
Very beautiful lake looks like spoon, crossing after upper domail. Sometimes land sliding is there . You should be mentally prepared for hiking if passage blocked after upper domail. Remember keep warm clothes and leave early in the morning.
