Hingol National Park
Situated in the Makran coastal region, Hingol National Park, sometimes known as Hungol National Park, is one of Pakistan's largest national parks. The park, which is situated in the Balochistani districts of Gwadar, Lasbela, and Awaran, is roughly 6,100 square kilometers (2,400 sq mi) in size and is situated 190 km from Karachi. In 1988, Hingol was designated as a national park.
The southern portion of the Hangul River, which hugs the Arabian Sea's coast and is home to an abundance of aquatic life and waterfowl, is the source of the park's name. Of all the national parks in Pakistan, Hangul National Park is the only one with six different ecosystems and areas of plains and desert.
The park is surrounded by the Hangul River tributary, which is home to thousands of migratory birds and marsh crocodiles, to the north, a desolate mountain range to the south, and deep woodland to the north. To the south lie the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman.
Since the Makran Coastal Highway was completed in 2004, people from all over the nation have been drawn to the park because of its unusual rock formations.
